Hopper Feeding
Hopper feeding systems store parts delivered in bulk in a large hopper and transfer them in controlled quantities to the vibratory bowl or directly to the production line. With a vibratory chute or belt transfer, only as many parts as needed are sent to the bowl; the bowl is never overfilled, and orienting efficiency and speed are maintained.
In systems working with a level sensor, the hopper starts automatically when the parts in the bowl run low and stops once the required level is reached. Hopper volume, inclination, body material and transfer method are designed according to the weight, size and surface sensitivity of your part and your daily production volume.
Key features
- Long unattended operation thanks to a large hopper
- Level-sensor controlled, on-demand part transfer
- Vibratory chute or belt transfer options
- Stainless steel or painted body, coated hopper for sensitive parts
- Fully compatible with vibratory bowl and linear feeders
Hopper volume, dimensions and price are determined by evaluating your sample part, target capacity and line layout. For a quotation, you can share photos of your parts or a sample with us.
